Men’s Member-Member Results (held March 6 & 7) 1st Flight-Overall Winners: Marc Horne & Chris Asbell 122 Runner up: Jim Mutispaugh & Ray Walsh 123 3rd place: Jack Ellis & Patrick Pye 127 nd 2 Flight Winners: Bill Henderson & Gus Moody 131 Runner up: Barry Connor & Billy Long 132 Tie 3rd Craig English & David Terry 132 rd 3 Flight Winners: Doug Emery & Fred Gartenbush 138 Runner up: Tom Garland & Ken McDowell 141 Tie 3rd Willard Cooper & Jim Vitalie 141 32 players began Match Play on March 1st and we are down to the final four: Tinker Walsh vs. Ken McDowell and Jim Mutispaugh vs. Dave Bordiuk. The winners of these 2 matches will square off by April 12 th to claim the 1st annual title. We will have a cookout for all of the participants and awards on April 12 th at 5:00 p.m. $50 Winner: KURT BILLER Miler Women’s Golf Association News: Congratulations to Sissue Beauchene –March Ace of the Month. A big thank you to Michaele Rogers for her hard work in CALGA hosted by us on March 16th. Thanks to all who helped make the tournament a success. Congratulations to Jessie Finucan who won Low Gross 87 in the First Flight and to Sissue Beauchene who won Second Low Net 77. Our next tournament is the handicap tourney on Apr 8-9. Reminder-April tee-time is 9:30 with sign in at 9:00 a.m.

April 22-Grilled Chicken at the Candlelite Pavilion Music & Dancing, free shag lessons 6:00 – 9:00 April 29-Garlic Shrimp Congrats to Rockie Bailey-he eagled #7 on Mar 22, 2010. BRAY’S BOGEYS: It’s getting warmer finally and the grass is thinking about greening up, which means golf is about to get better. We had some great tournaments last month and have some fun events planned for the upcoming month as well. Congratulations to Men’s MemberMember champions Marc Horne and Chris Asbell and thanks to everyone who participated. Also, the Match Play Championship is down to the final eight, the brackets are posted in the pro shop. Keith Jennings’s BBQ and Blitz on March 21st was a lot of fun despite rain throughout the day. We had 26 players brave the rain and even had a guest appearance by Coach Danny Ford. Upcoming tournaments include the Men’s Club Championship and President’s Cup on April 23-25 and the 37th annual “Chick” Miler on May 28-30. To participate in the President’s Cup you must have a handicap established. This is always a fun, yet competitive, tournament. Sign up in the pro shop beginning April 1 st. We will begin member sign up on April 20th this year for the “Chick” Miler. The $150 member entry fee includes your cart for three days and must be paid when you sign up. I would also like to thank the Ladies Golf Association for the organization and help with CALGA 2010. We will have a CLEARANCE sale on April 2nd in the pro shop. Please come by – we appreciate your support. We are supporters of an innovative online auction of golf rounds from over 600 courses that raises money for turf grass research.
